My wife, Darla, and I started our first "bank" over 5 years ago. Along with God, she provides the guidance, support and love that fills and gives purpose to my life and empowers me to pass the same on to others... like you! I was raised with a natural inclination toward the financial industry due to my father, who retired after a long, successful career as a banker. Although I spent the first part of my life as a music education teacher, I ended up going back to my "roots" and becoming a banker. I was first introduced to the benefits of using dividend-paying whole life insurance as a "bank" over 5 years ago. I immediately saw that the process used was almost identical to the process that we use in the banking world. I continued working in the banking industry while I researched, attended seminars and experienced first-hand the benefits of using these banking concepts in our own family finances. Darla and I finally made the decision for me to move from being a banker to becoming a "banking teacher", helping others to understand how money really works and how to establish their own family "banks". I have been particularly blessed to have, as my long-time mentor, Ray Poteet, who is one of the most knowledgeable and nationally well-known teachers in this field. His success can be measured not only by the fact that he has helped hundreds of families set up their own "banks", but also in the difference he has made in their lives through his expression of God's love and truths.
